Outwell Montana

Great family tents, well made, strong and draught free.

They also have a private side porch which is good for a chemical toilet if you are in the Hebrides or the like.

Vango Orchy. Similar size to the more common Icarus but it is a stronger dome type than the tunnel type Icarus. We loved ours before we got the camper, really good quality.

We have a outwell bear lake. We were going to get the Montana but the bear lake was on a crazy closing down deal.

It's a bit epic, takes up most of the boot but is great for family camping.

canvas bell tent (soulpad) with internal divider. i love mine
massive space and a room divider can be added to add to already stratospheric cost. so can a woodburner if you want to carry your stw cred around.

Bell Tent with inner tent and an awning. Aint cheap put will last, also good secondhand value if you decide its not for you. Also loads of space and head height.

Loddrik you are Brum-way?

I went camping in Brugges/flanders in Summer- tbh the only extra cost really was the fuel and Brugges is only an hour from landing at Calais.

Makes for a different and interesting break- camping was 20euros a night.

Had a Montana 6, great tent but now moved onto a polycotton Tent, never going to get another plastic tent again, polycotton or canvas all the way.
