You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Just started as a contractor. Some days I'm WFH so I'm ok for web access with my own wireless.
Some days in client offices (UK and poss Poland) - I can usually get onto their guest wireless network but it's a bit of a hassle - so for those moments and for when I need access when I'm travelling I want to get a dongle with a big data allowance... The company I work for uses dropbox which likes to sych regularly
Any recommendations re contract and the dongle itself?
I wouldn't recommend syncing Dropbox when using mobile data, it will eat your allowance very quickly, unless of course you are only using small files.
I would go portable wifi rather than a dongle, lets you put the device in a location that gets good reception and then connect by wireless.
I have one of these TP Link M5350
Only £40 and can use any sim.
When travelling abroad I just by a preloaded local data sim when I get there, much cheaper than data roaming. In the UK I just buy cheap preloaded sims off ebay. Don't bother with a contract.
