Buying a diving watch as a present and have no idea where to start. Looking to spend £80-£150. It's for a man.

Thanks in advance.

My first suggestion would be Seiko, although Casio watches are pretty water-resistant, they do tend to be a bit over-complicated. A proper divers watch has a simple, clear dial with a rotating bezel.
These two are mine, a 1980's TAG, and my Seiko SPORK.

Both would be way outside your budget, but that's the sort of style you should be looking for.
Here's a bunch that are somewhere around your budget, so take your pick! 😀

For actually diving Apeks and Mares are two brands worth looking at around that price.

1 years sub to Dive magazine=around £35
includes a choice of free gifts, one of which is an Apeks dive watch

or, £85 from Simply Scuba gets you "the ultimate diving watch. It has a tough stainless steel bezel and mineral glass for fantastic strength and a helium escape valve which opens when the internal pressure is higher than the external pressure"

Citizen pro master Aqualand - assuming he actually wants it for diving rather than fashion. It's a bit over budget but will provide dive log useful data.

Otherwise the world is your oyster if what you're looking for is a waterproof chunky watch.

Seiko auto diver around £125. You won't get a better looking, reliable watch for such little money

If it's for diving, he wants a dive computer. Simple watch is for backup so you don't have bail out of a dive because the computer packs in. That being the case, simple is best. Chunky rotating bezel, good luminosity on the hands, long stretchy rubber strap

Most divers wear citizen but I have broken my Eco drive numerous times, it was replaced three times under warranty. On that basis, get any respectable dive watch, if it was me I'd get this....

Ps I'm a dive master.
