My Broadband supplier is upping its prices in January which allows me to ditch the contract and find a new one. Been looking on line but it’s like choosing a horse in a race using a pin. Origin looked good, was a third of what I pay now including the phone package, except my PAYG mobile, but then the reviews were awful. In fact most isp reviews are awful its just some are less awful than others. BT have had their moments but once it is up and running its fine just when things go tu you find how useless their customer service is.
Questions:
Are all suppliers rubbish its just a question of best of a bad bunch?
How do I get a working email if my email address has the old isp extension in the address – I use Thunderbird since MS did away with Outlook? I do have g-mail but not sure if we can run two email addresses/accounts with only me logged into google? Also we have so many websites using email address as user login it could turn into a nightmare.
Do I need a faster router if I want to include Netflix being as how Amazon has killed Lovefilm.
Assuming I still need to buy a receiver for the the tv as it does not have Nf built in?
