Off to Paris with my gf for a weekend in November for my birthday.

Been looking at hotels/airbnbs but nothing jumping out at me.

Anyone got any recommendations for somewhere nice/classy/romantic/special? I thought somewhere around Marais/Canal St Martin would be good. Or possibly Montmartre...

Can spend up to ~£125/night

That looks nice but a bit above the OP budget (though it may be worth a stretch 🙂 )

For cheaper places I find Ibis are generally comfortable.

We go to Paris quite often. A beautiful city and cheaper than London. We used to stay in the city, but now stay in Versailles. Its only 20 mins from the city centre by train and loads cheaper.
Yes, there is a very busy visitor attraction, but if you stay away from the Palace then you have a beautiful French town full of local bars and places to eat. We wouldn't now stay anywhere else.

How hipster are you?!? This place is out near where my brother lives, nice part of town and easy to get to from CDG as well as in to the centre.
