I'm taking some Spanish friends on a day trip to Wales from Bristol. Any thoughts on a good place to walk and get some views. Preferably not too much driving. Cheers
Pen-y Fan and Cribyn in the Brecon Beacons...don't do it from Storey Arms though as no views til you're pretty much at the top..much better from the north.
Near Aber. Sugarloaf from the view point (if it's a good day).
Thanks. Some nice broadleaf woods would be a bonus. I normally bimble around Llanbedr but I'm looking for something new.
Sugarloaf or the Skirrid.
Lord Hereford's Knob from Gospel Pass. Tea at Llantony. Or some pints at the Skirrid Inn and a taxi home.
Or drive a bit further- The woods around Ystradfellte are changing colour now. Add in the waterfalls and some great pubs- winner 🙂
