I've been given a shed load of coffee beans. So it must be time to buy a grinder. We're not talking beans harvested by naked Columbian women. They don't need a gold plated grinder with tungsten tip blades or anything. I'm not too fussed about the overall quality of the grind. Just something that works consistently and is easy to use, without going through a load of faff for my morning coffee.
Anything decent for a good price?
Oh, it would be used with an Aeropress. Standard Aeropress pretend Americano type stuff.
I've got a hario mini mill. One of the cheaper manual burr grinders, I think I got it from amazon for ~£20
Iberital MC2 From Happy Donkey is a popular recommendation for a burr grinder. A bit fiddly to fine tune between two grinds which I find annoying. A cheapo blade grinder is probably ok for an aero press though which is much cheaper and smaller to find a space for.
