I've been looking around for an electric paddle board pump, but not one that needs plugged into the car. A few of the places I go are a bit of a walk from the car park and I don't want to be carrying a fully inflated board.

Any recommendations? I've googled a few but nice to hear real life experiences.

And yes, I could just use the manual pump, and yes it is a good work out for the muscles, but sometimes I'm just lazy.

I've looked into this recently.
Met a bloke pumping his up in a car park using a regular 12v sup pump, powered by a little 12v power bank made by Vango

Better option if you ask me. On a combined unit, if the pump breaks you have to replace the lot. This way you've got the option just to replace one, plus you can then use it off your car too.

Apparently it'll do about 2.5 regular boards up to about 20psi

About 60 notes.

Hi. That sounds about perfect, but what make is it? Can't get the link to work. Cheers.

Or are you meaning the Vango battery is about sixty quid and will work with most SUP pumps.

Yes. 60 is for the battery, which will work with any sup pump. I have a pretty generic one that goes up to the 20psi my board needs.

There is this combo for sale as a package alternatively.

Cheers. That looks pretty much just what I'm looking for. Thanks again.

On a related note, is the pump connector on a Decathlon Itiwit board a standard thing? We bought one last week and it has a bayonet connection but takes a bloody age to pump up manually.

Yes most likely. I've not yet come across a board that my pump doesn't fit.

The image below is the Itiwit connector and looks the same as my Aquaplanet and my Jobe pumps.

The other ones are for inflatable boats and that.

I use one of these and a leisure battery.

I had it for Zodiac duties but also great for SUP and I had the leisure battery from the caravan.

The decathlon pump is shite. My jobe handpump is significantly better and really not that bad if you take it easier rather try to Herman it.

To be fair pumping the thing up is quite a good warmup. If you have two or more to do then electric pump for sure. Also handy for air beam tents.
