I've finally been made to use a laptop at work, they've not provided a bag or sleeve and I'm concerned it's going to get trashed pretty quickly if I just keep it in my rucksack (just putting it on the ground and dunting it etc...). I really don't know what I want, sleeve mini-satchel shoulder bag type thing or all the way to rucksack. I'd like something with good protection though, I've used tech air stuff with the air cushion before so maybe something like that. Thinking a sleeve is good as it means i can easily pop the laptop in other luggage and the other end though a rucksack type thing is good as I generally have a load of other bumf to carry too (charger, notepad etc...)
I figured where better to seek reccomendations than stw, so what've you got and why (and would you reccomend it?)
Ask for a sleeve and if they don’t then just lob it in a bag and don’t worry too hard about it? That’s my approach. They gave me a sleeve when they gave me a nicer laptop 🙂
Otherwise whatever neoprene sleeve fits well, loads about all much of a muchness. Help keep the laptop dry if it gets wet, such as the entirely hypothetical situation of your bottle of water bursting open and turning an aeroplane overhead locker into an unexpected water feature.
