5th birthday coming up she's been off the stabilisers for a while and riding a tiny bike.

Want something that will last her a few years but something she can ride now...

Decathlon?
Halfords?

You'll need a 16" wheel, so I'd say a Ridgeback Melody.

My daughter has one and loves it, it's like a proper bike only smaller.

Don't go to Decathlon or Halfords, they mostly sell shite for idiots!

Agree with Mike on Halfords, but not Decathlon.

With money to invest, always go Islabikes, other wise I've always gone for Dawes.

At that age My daughter had a Dawes Blowfish. Should get one for under £100, especially if it is last years model

After going through a similar process in November of last year I decided upon an Islabike Benin for young MasterG.

My main reasoning for this was the resale value. Although the bikes are quite expensive to start with (I think I paid £220), second hand ones were being snapped up at £180+ on e-bay.
