Any suggestions for a compressor we can use in our bike shop for cleaning bikes and inflating tyres

A quiet one, ie not like mine...
I'd suggest you buy local so (hopefully) you can here it running.
Also worth getting a decent inflator piece - I couldn't get a Schrader/Presta one so bought this plus twist on adaptors:
