My Desire contract is up and I'd like something more up to date/bigger, but not leading edge, ideally on the cheap (<£15pcm I am currently paying).

I should be able to wangle something better out of Orange based on loyalty, any good deals out there to consider as well?

Am happy with HTC, Samsung, Sony, they all seem to hav decent screens/batteries/cameras.

I got a galaxy on vodafone for free, then 13.99 a month via quidco. Only 100mb data though, but been well happy with it

Galaxy Ace? Mines about a tenner a month (24 month contract) for more minutes and texts I'd ever use and unlimited data usage! Works for me (makes calls, lets me look at facebook/ebay whilst I'm meant to be working, takes surprisingly good pics etc).

have a one s on 24 months, 15 quid, some minutes ( not many - 100 or so? ), some texts ( plenty for me - 250? ), 750mb/month.
noticeably slicker than the desire it replaces.

I've got an xperia arc; 14 months ago on voda - when I took it out i got 750mb, 300 mins & unlimited text for £17 a month. Cracking phone imo; if it's still available I'd recommend.
