The climate vent in the back of the central arm rest between driver and passenger seats on my car doesn’t yield any air. I can get the slightest breeze with all other vents closed and fan on full. What might have gone wrong?
Blocked by a dead rat...
...or a wasp's nest
Pretend vent from cheapskate manufacturer?
There’s frozen sausages hammered into it.
Some just have a duct under passenger and driver seat I think. Have you got stuff shoved under the front seats blocking air flow!
I think moab probably has it - it’s a Nissan
i do have Floor mats in the rear foot well but I’d have thought blocking that air flow would help the centre console and other vents.
Don’t listen to them, it’s just a lot of hot air. Or not maybe.
Absolutely positively completely sure there is not a slidy thing to control the quantity of air gushing forth?
what flavour Nissan is it?
Is it dependent on the direction of airflow to the front vents (i.e. try changing the "face/windscreen/feet" knob on the dash)?
Our golfs only produces a noticeable air flow when set to person or person/feet.
Nest of baby Robins in the ducting.
The fabled missing crown race is stuck in your vent
It’s a T32 xtrail in Tekna spec.
i tried the middle setting which does the dash vents in your face and fiddling with the open/shut wheel on the vent itself. but didn’t seem to make any difference.
haha to the other posts. I wondered where that race went…
It might just be that the ducting to the back seats is too long/too many bends in it to get good air pressure.
Have you tried closing the front vents off or partially closing them to force more air though the rears?
EDIT
I can get the slightest breeze with all other vents closed and fan on full.
Ahh ignore me.. I didn't read properly!
Probably just badly designed system..I think rear passenger seat vents are often a bit of an afterthought, but that's all I can suggest.
