My beloved Berghaus Extrem XCR Gore-Tex is showing signs of wear at the cuffs and collar. I've just had a look at replacing it and I'd really rather not spend £280. 😯

Can anyone recommend some sort of patch?

An eye patch? You won't notice the damage half as much.

Do the cuffs and collar match? If so obviously you'd have to get them repaired as a set.

+1 for LSR.

They did a good job on my Berghaus Gore Tex, but I'm not sure what they can do if it's the outer material fraying.

🙂

Have had sailing stuff repaired my Musto, worked really well they had sticky backed material. The links above I'm sire will do a good job assuming you can't source the material yourself. Clearly the repair doesn't have to be Gortex given the areas of damage.

Congratulations on deciding to repair, less landfill of a perfectly usable piece of kit

So don't.

In my experience half that price, or less, gets you a shinier, more breathable jacket.

I have Gore ProShell Mountain Equipment Valkyrie - £80 in the sales.

Nice jacket mate.
LSR are officially recommended by Berghaus.

LSR did a good job on my Gore-Tex Active jacket - same material and fitted the patch in with the shape of the panels. Was mid-sleeve after a fall though, rather than cuffs
