Loads of not uncool stuff here!! Volvo and Skoda excluded.
This was a childhood dream car
I think the cool/uncool decision should be made as if Top Gear was doing it...unfortunately. If you think they would rate the car uncool then its in!
That Talbot would be the ultimate MTB vehicle
I do remember working on similar Talbots back in the day and they were horrible vehicles - but they did have a certain charm 🙂
Jools182 I had a 1600gt junior...
Messiah, a mate of mine has a g60, and besides that frowny headlight thing and the borbets, his looks rather unmolested. It has got blue hoses and then he lost me on whatever else he did to the engine, and he claims he 'lost' an r32 on the motorway down here last time I saw him. 😀

I remember working for McAlpine and the site agents had Cavalier Commanders, thought they were very cool back then.

Cool site to find how many cars are left.
Rogerthecat - Yup its top of the broken road
Bikebouy - pics
Double post
With you on the Matra Rancho. Must have been the same for whoever designed the Discovery
Argh, my eyes.
Captain Flashheart - spot on - very cool car!
Damn! 😉
Supercool Captain Flashheart! If I ever venture back to classic cars I'd be in one of those (or an earlier model)
Is that the ancestral pile?
😆
Mine's the same colour, with a cream fabric interior and has been loved from new. It lives in cosseted luxury, which I think is rather nice for an "ordinary" car. It's not some super-duper special thing, just a "good" car that my grandfather bought new in Germany, collected from the factory in person and left in his will.
Pigface, it's about the same size as my London pad! In fact, could be bigger! 😉
YoKaiser, if it ain't a W123 it ain't super [s]cool[/s] un-cool! 😉
And, here's the Auto-Bahn-Barge in person;

Not my pic, I should add...and, not the best pic, but there next to a friend's rather lovely V8 MG in the background, at the rather lovely "Drive It" day at the Royal Oak in Bishopstone.
Oh, and I think this is another...

there is one of these near to where i live.
I did wonder if that would crop up. First thing I thought of when I saw the thread title.
Rare as owt, probably worth a bit.
One of these. Utter junk but if I could have any car ever, then without hesitation:

I was just wondering if a DeLorean had been mentioned yet - I briefly had a go in one and the bit I loved was the way you have to climb over the handbrake to get in. I wonder how many people crashed doing that...
There's a feller lives near me who has a DMC-12... It's probably as rubbish as people say, but man does it have some presence.
Obviously if I had one, I'd need to turn it into a back to the future replica though.

Likewise. Tragically, my longing for a Delorean comes simply from a childhood obsession with the BTTF saga. Every time I catch glimpse of a Delorean in real life (oh so rarely) I turn into an excitable child.
i guess its actually quite cool:

Cortina is a little less so:

Just stumbled across this.

6.2L v8 under the lid.
Do I win?
Cougar - its a Vauxhall, so officially not cool, but yeah, that's gooooooodd...
My mates got one of those yellow things its pretty cool 🙂

S-line...
Good old SurfMat used to have quite a good saying about those: "All show, no go"...and y'know what, he was right 😀
Mrs MM wants an Audi A4 S-Line
get a passat estate as a compromise, doesn't look quite as cr8p as that Skoda for a start...
Not that I would normally wish a passat on anyone.
I'd hazard a guess no one on here owns an un-cooler car than me
A 2004 Daewoo Tacuma. Soon to be for sale, but it's actually been an absolutely brilliant car. Used purely for bike/ snowboard/ dog transporting. Totally reliable, tons of space inside, fairly decent to drive if lacking in oomph, but it'll sit at 70mph with ease.
I see all of your citreons, renaults and fiats and raise you a
NISSAN BLUEBIRD - 1988 with variable timing flick wipe! Oh Yes!
I loved this car boot like a tardis only ever seemed to put stuff in and never take it out! It also had two seperate milometers (?) just for the taxi drivers. I wrapped it round a telegraph pole unfortunatley!

Careful not to tar yourself with the same 'helmet' brush that Surfmat had.
For what its worth you can get an S-line A4 Avant with the same engine as the VRS Estate
Jensen interceptor
Jensen interceptor
Uncool FAIL!
Anything called an Interceptor just HAS to be cool!
😉

Yeah, but STILL an Audi, so not in the slightest bit cool.
Audi lost most of their credibility when Lady Di drove one.
Any remaining vestige of automotive respectability was lost when they modified and ruined the original, beautiful TT because people who couldn't drive kept crashing them.
A brand that, like BMW, has sold it's soul in order to appeal to precisely the kind of people that shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a steering wheel.

Whats the cool alternative then?
Damn pics...
Just bought the uncool car I've wanted for a while (a VW Caddy Sportline).
My 17 year old Mercedes W124 is so old and uncool, it will probably be considered cool soon!
Caddy pick-up? If yes, pics please!

Oh please, spare me. 🙄
Keep seeing one of these at Tesco. Feel dirty just looking at it
What's annoying is that is what Hyundai deem good enough for the UK market, and yet everywhere else gets this triumph of design:

If they released that here, they'd corner the 370z/Focus RS/BMW M135/Astra VXR/RenaultSport Megane market in one fell swoop.
What is that exactly? Looks a bit like the Toyota/Subaru coupe - is it a clone?
I still want one of these 8)
My brother and Dad had Japanese imported Nissan Pulsar GTi-R's, 2.0 Turbo 4wd in a Nissan Sunny.. Standard 275 BHP, but my brother was running 420 BHP and Dad's was 375 BHP. Unbelievably quick, 0-60 was under 4 seconds in brothers and 4.5 in Dad's. 160+ mph was achieved in both.
My race car, i suppose they are uncool by todays standards 😳

Used to own a GTiR, broke the roof on it...

It's the Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Released in 2008 - back when the Toyobaru was still just a few sleek lines in a sketchpad - and has a 210hp 2.0L turbocharged engine or a 310hp 3.8L V6.
And we get the wet fart of a car that is the Veloster.
Triumph TR7. That is all. Failing that, a Fiat X-19 would do.
I kinda want one of those tiny "sporty" Smart cars. They look well fun to drive around in.
Loving this thread. Lots of cars i'd love on here...
Heres plenty i'd love in this link...
Fast retro estates!
Especially the 8.32 estate! Been quizzing on getting an RS2 for months.
I had a fantastic GTiR Pulsar/Sunny through a comedy of errors for about 10 weeks. It was running about 350bhp nothing like the figures claimed above but it was mentally quick. The brakes werent up to the job which made life interesting. Sold it to a guy in Swindon who if my clouded memory is correct destroyed it with in a week or so.
The best thing about it was that only real petrol heads knew what it was and it was happy to pootle about, ride was a bit harsh 😆 ah I am getting all misty eyed now.
The Bluebird has to win as being the most uncool car on here 😆
