Any thoughts on how to get this pin out on a Hammer based garden chipper.
I was hoping to reverse the hammers and mayby replace the axle spacer collars.
Just bash it ?

Looks like it, as long as you can get a punch in you should be fine. Does the shaft not rotate at all for better access?
Shaft rotates. Thanks for the response.
However, in the last few minutes the instructiond have been found.
All is needed 3/16 pinch and make sure you bash the end with no groove when removing the so call "Groove Pin".
American machine.

Cool, never seen a pin like that, just assumed it was a normal split pin.
