I usually buy my reading glasses at boots in the £15-£25 range.
Checking out options many seem have have very variable reviews .. I've got a EXPENSIVE screen use variable set (prescription) but for reading in bed or sticking in a bum bag/pocket/car in case I need to read something type I usually buy from boots and just try on. I think I was +2.5 last time but might have been 2 ???
As I often fall asleep and wreck them I don't want to pay too much but equally don't want crap...and currently down to my expensive ones only...
So go ahead... where? How much ?
I have bought from select specs before. Not budget specs but had good service. Anything out of the ordinary take some time. If off the shelf and basic glass then I would have no issues recommending them.
Costco if you've got a card. 3 pairs + neoprene covers for 15 quid. I'm not expecting mine to last forever but for the money they're great.
Amazon. 5 pairs of sprung arm metal frames for £19.
Best I've come across so far (much much better than supermarket glasses).

I'd seen those sharkbait ... reviews seemed a bit all over but I'll take a punt I reckon.
Mine have been great, none have fallen apart since buying them in September and I have multiple pairs scattered around the house and office.
I ordered .. I'll probably wreck some falling asleep anyway and lose some so at least I can rescatter and leave some in strategic places again.
