Ok fast approaching 50 and my eyes require some help.

I have a large helium head ... its not that bad but I generally do wear oversize sunglasses.

Anyone recomrnend any stylish glasses - pref tortoise shell/ black in the wayfarer simple and classic style..

Nb standard wayfarer are too small

Cheers

Porsche Design with titanium frame.

Frame is very light, comfortable and wide especially if you have gigantic head.

But may be rather difficult to find them in your normal spectacle shops.

Mine is P8158 this one.

I shall be buying the same again ... not really for fashion btw.

A bit niche?

To put you in the picture - I get called 'melon-heed' by my beloved. I chose big thick black regular squarish ones because they were
A. Cheapest, and
B. Comfortable.

Plus I don't like those nose-grip things so much. Downside is often getting called 'Ade Edmondson' or 'Harry Hill' by the odd shining wit.

Overdue for new prescription so anything could happen. But they are for reading/work - so they should be comfortable with plenty of FOV-coverage. If I had to wear spectacles all of the time I think I'd be paralysed by choices/fashions. Like a rabbit in the headlights. I really have no clue about that fashion game so would prob do as you do and enlist the better-judgment of others.

There is a range of frames called big n' tall, cant remember the distributor off the top of my head, but alot of independant opticians (like us) will either stock them or have access to them

I struggled to get reading glasses for my fat head until I found some Timberland TB 1352 wayfarer style ones. They acetate frames which bump the price up a bit over injection moulded plastic but also very light so all day comfortable.
