Due to a balls up with the washing machine on holiday our waterproofs are no longer waterproof. Has anybody re waterproofed anything that was once waterproof but is no longer waterproof?

What did you use?

The items in question get washed a lot, so the re waterproofing needs to be able to withstand repeated 30°C washes… and not the 90°C wash and tumble dry option that our (no longer) waterproofs were subjected to.

Muchas Gracias.

I use graingers stuff - give it a wash in natural soap flakes first then the waterproofing stuff and then a quick tumble dry.

It's not permanent but it's easy to top up with another wash once the water stops beading again.
