As title really. My Google powers are weak old man and I need to replace a battery pack
AAA cells x 8 in a 4 plus 4 configuration, rechargeable
Actually for a Bluetooth device but I think the battery is designed for RC transmit units
If not are there option to use something similar. 2 x 18650 are too long but OK width ways.

I'm not 100% what layout you're describing, got a pic?

Or did I guess right? https://www.componentshop.co.uk/9-6v-2600mah-flat-4x2-aa-nimh-battery-pack.html?___SID=U

EDIT: Oops, they're AA.

I've failed to find anything AAA

But you could maybe see if these guys can do it, they did a drill battery for me that's still going strong.

Vapextech have some AAA packs. This one is 8 cells, maybe not quite the right shape, could it be modified.

I would contact componentshop, they could probably make to order.

What connectors does it need?

3 pin rectangle plug
i think i have a solution , they make plastic slot in carriers in the configuration required .They are a few quid on ebay and should fit in the bottom of the speaker
Might have to solder the correct plug on it as its got some sort of fuse in the form of vey thin wire inline , maybe reverse polarity protection or over - volt / over - load
First thing that has stumped stw
