A bit of a long shot I know and a tad random, but...
I had a car accident in the above car park and have to provide a diagram for the accident report and can't remememeber the exact layout for the first 2-3 rows in front of the store. I've had a look on Google, Bing etc but all the aerial photos are of a previous layout. I can't get to the store to have a look (as I'm living about 3hours away) and I can't find the planning application or similar on t'internet.
Can anyone post a quick diagram, describe it or similar? Thanks

I think that you have the store entrance then a couple of trolly shelters. Then a 2 way lane runs parallel to the shop front and on the other side of that you have the rows of parking perpendicular to the shop front.
I need some milk on my way home tonight so will try and remember to have a look.

the layout is virtually the same. the first row is the main difference, as the parking spaces are now like rows 2 and 3, rather than in in the groups of 6 and 8 as they are on the Ariel image
Can Tesco's themselves not supply you a diagram? This can't be the first time an insurance claim has needed it, might be worth looking into.

Where are you getting the ariel images from? When I look at google maps it only shows the beginning of the construction of Tescos.
Craggyjim - I think you might be looking at Tesco Haslingden or the new Asda in Rawtenstall.
The one I'm after is the Tesco in Rawtenstall, between Bocholt Way and Bury Road, which used to be Asda.
Oh that'd explain it. I think I got confused with "the above carpark" which I assumed meant the top level. Must read more carefully next time.

Has it really changed that much? It's like a racetrack but with two way traffic and half-obscured markings. I've never followed the directions there so can't help (and no, it wasn't me that ran into you!) but you might want to try looking at the maps on Bing, which might be newer.
