The convention is that the half-red tiles should be towards the front, but apart from that, lovely job. 🙂
Is it a rabbit shadow you are trying to do? No wait it's the scream mask...
Oh dear. Good job the better half isn't a member here, of they'd all be up again tomorrow. 😀
Makes sense I suppose, especially as I put that line of narrow tiles in front, (which I'd not planned on when deciding on the pattern)
Not a rabbit, was trying to keep my shadow out of the way. The pet rabbit was fed up though as he's been shut in his hutch all day with the gate being open.
No, no, no.
I was only joking dude! 😀
DD panics 🙂
😆
Phew! 😳 😆
Looks very good!! I'm about to embark on a jigsaw puzzle with reclaimed York stone (free, but random shapes/sizes), a side passage, and 2 terraces. If it looks half as good as yours I'll be happy!
I always find grouting the hard bit - very hard to get it completely smooth, the grout never seems to flow properly and either rolls up leaving gaps or won't spread smoothly.

I'd leave that for your new builder mate ... he must be able to knock off half a dozen or so in a day, right?
^^^ 😆 It's more a case of re-pointing the step and filling a gap under the threshold. Tiles themselves are butted up tight.
Oh and free York stone, that's a result!
