Grrrrr....
7/10, pretty good but needs more exclamation marks.
Agree with sentiment though.
When shops decided they need to start spreading the business over a period of time, rather than just the week before.
Bonfire night hasn't finished here yet. It could well be Christmas by the time the local Tossers stop competing for the loudest rocket accolade.
Its time for the new year / pre christmas black friday thanksgiving sales..
are you hanging up a stocking on your wall
it's the time that every Santa has a ball
does he ride a red nosed reindeer
does a ton-up on his sleigh
do the faries keep him sober for a day

Since yesterday?
Since cash became king. Bonfire night is the last event in the British calendar before Christmas.
Don't be such a misery, life is far too f***ing short

Randomly mixing capital and lower case letters boils my piss as much as x**s.
I find the expression 'boils my piss' pretty irritating.
I'm guessing that the retailers are thinking that after this weekend, there are only 6 weekends until the big fella empties his sack, so they are keen to maximise!
That's mingin' yunki. Nice version of the song though (better than the reformed Beatles did with it anyway)
Randomly mixing capital and lower case letters boils my piss as much as x**s.

I am looking forward to some Christmas fireworks and some end of November fireworks after some bonfire night mince pies and Turkey.
Only six weeks to go until a few days off and excited happy children and hopefully some more lego to hurt my feet on. What's not to like.
There is a turkey sign near us that counts down the days, it doesn't come out till 100 to go. Love seeing it, knowing it's not long till a few days of work, and time to relax and enjoy it with friends and family.
During November and December we'll build around 600 bikes for Christmas presents. I'm very pleased we don't have to attempt to do that in the last week! Although there will doubtless be some who come in, late afternoon on Christmas Eve and get very upset when we tell them we can't build bikes for all of their sextuplets in an hour!
I find the expression 'boils my piss' pretty irritating.
Worse than irritating, It boils my piss!
When I was a kid, fireworks went off on 5th November & very rarely before, then you had a couple of leftovers the night after & that was it.
I'm in the 'bah humbug' camp on bloody xmas as well! 👿
