You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I've just had a go at my daughter for liking things on Facebook that I think are inappropriate. She assured me she hadn't liked these pages and didn't know how they were showing up in my feed.
So being a suspicious type I've just been through her phone to see if they are in her feed, but they aren't. And while I had her phone another of these pages was liked so I know it isn't her!
What could be happening?
What sort of things do you mean? Click bait type stuff?
Plot twist: OP's daughter is 21.
What sort of things do you mean? Click bait type stuff?
Yep - "12 Awesome sexual positions" type stuff.
When I look at her feed directly they aren't there.
She's clicked on one of those daft app things ' find out who your real friends are' whose small print allows them to do stuff in her name. Go to settings and revoke all App permissions.
Thanks footflaps - how do I find out which one it's likely to be!?
She's 14 BTW, so I know most of what she looks at is trash, but I draw the line at some things!
No idea, I don't click on any of them, nor allow any Apps to run!
Personally I'd go to the App Settings page and block / switch off everything.
In the top right corner of the offending item on your news feed, there should be a drop down menu that lets you choose to hide/block etc. This will tell you the name of the app to look for in your daughters account.
