It's a bit good isn't it!
Camberwick Green! Oh eck i'm old 🙁
That is most excellent, hoping a new album is on the way. It even got played on Radio 2 yesterday afternoon which is unusual for Radiohead.
Crikey that's a bit dark!
Love it.
Is that an OfSted inspector?
Totes amazeballz
The video has a wonderfully poignant lost sense of innocence to it. Which it what (I think) they are trying to get at here.
New album in June.
Hopefully...
I saw this a couple of days ago and was amazed there was no thread. And I wouldn't call myself a Radiohead fan.
fantastic, the marketing campaign has been superb.
Been a fan most of my life since Pablo honey and bought everything since then, this is just perfect. It's got the innocence I don't think they quite got in previous videos.

Well, uh, yes, interesting rhythmic devices, which seemed to counterpoint the underlying metaphor of the humanity of, of the poet's soul.
😆
Brilliant.
I found the next songs lyrics
'Oh freddled gruntbuggly,
Thy micturations are to me
As plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee.
Groop, I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes,
And hooptiously drangle me with crinkly bindlewurdles,
Or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts
With my blurglecruncheon, see if I don't!'
They are always coming up with new stuff, I like it, I think.
Video is amazeballs
Video is great, song is utter pants. Without the video the song would tank.
I thought if the Wickerman after about 30 seconds, and it was. Must be something subliminal
Brilliant - my favourite group

Yes dear, of course it will. *sigh*
Can't say I really like them (used to, quite a lot) ... but they're undeniably inventive, brave and quite happy to challenge most industry norms
more power to them
I'm not a Radiohead fan by any stretch.
They've done a few good tracks.
This, is a great track.

There's a fantastic contrast between the use of an innocent childhood TV series (for Radiohead's target audience demographic) and having them exhibiting some really nasty behaviour, which somewhat screws with your mind 🙂
I thought the song itself was a bit bland but the message of the video is right on the money for the times - we're having a lot of myths about our place in the world and about things we believed were certainties being rather evidently displaced, which is unsettling a lot of people...
Fantastic, thanks shermer.
To be honest, their output over the last few albums is not blowing me away like their earlier stuff, and I'm having a similar reaction to this.
I think it's got something to do with Thom Yorke insisting on wailing his lyrics but I can't quite put my finger on it.
Perhaps I'm just getting old.
Nice that they seem to have put the art project on hold and tried making music again.
Even if the track is based on bits they had left around from in rainbows
Must be a grower cos as soon as its finished I've forgotten it!
Absolutely loved Thom Yorke's recent output, from King of Limbs to Atoms for Peace and his solo stuff, so big hopes for the new Radiohead album.
Enjoying this more
I like it.
(Not the Peppers' one.)
6 Music now without the video(obviously) sounds good to me.
What? What have the Red Hot Chili Peppers got to do with anything? 😆

Nothing more than both bands released a new single on the same day.
Feels like they've made a song to support the video not the other way round. As an animated short it's good, as a sing without the video not so much, but then I don't really get Radiohead as much as I've tried.
I'm not a huge Radiohead fan, but that song & video are awesome!
Not sure the song stands all that well on its own. Works wonderfully with the video though.
I saw them in Glastonbury many years ago. I have to admit they weren't that good live.
The new song doesn't do it for me either.
Each to their own I suppose.
I'm not a huge Radiohead fan and I think it will remain that way, sorry not seeing what's so totes amazeballs...
What about the Kardashians though eh?
Big Radiohead fan. New song is good , I like it.
Old one this but a good video too.
Video is great, song is utter pants. Without the video the song would tank.
I tend to agree to be honest but it's good film music, it adds to the experience of watching it without ever being noticeable in it's own right.
I've been listening to stuff that's coming up at The Great Escape Festival to try to plan who to go and see. I'm having the opposite experience there. Some half way decent material but if you watch the videos they are mostly utter drivel and really detract from the songs. I've given up and just use the soundcloud links instead.
New album out Sunday:
New album comes out on download. Don't know if they will do what they did before and release a CD version too for us old grandads.
I like the track and video. Interesting to hear it was a song hanging around from In Rainbows, which IMO is their best album since OK Computer.
(Also good to hear You and Whose Army at the end of Peaky Blinders on Thursday night)
Ten foot 17th June physical release
Cheers
Downloaded the album a few minutes ago, on track three at this moment.
Liking what I'm hearing very much so far.
Bought the 24-bit WAV version, sounds very good indeed, very expansive sound.
