I am after a 4 season down bag, maybe Rab, just wondering if the Rab factory shop is any good and if it sells sleeping bags or just clothing and when is it open. The bag is for my niece off to Nepal and Himalayas and up to 18000 ft on a school trip and has been told she needs a bag suitable for -10, presuming that is comfort. Needs to pack up as small as possible. cheers. we know it isn't going to be cheap.

Pretty sure they had some when I went, and yes it's good.

It's open wednesday and thursday afternoons for a couple of hours each day. The stock seems to vary but they definitely had some sleeping bags last time I went.

When I were a lad I went to the Indian Himalaya with school

I took a Rab bag. In those days Rab made them himself. I phoned to ask if he could do me an extra long. He answered the phone and we had a chat. The lads done well

Apologies for not providing any useful information

I think savings vary by item, my down jacket cost me 70 instead of 120.
