I have been looking to use quidco to buy some travel insurance and the company i have in mind pay the cash back via BACS. This involves giving my bank details.
Quidco users is this safe, i wouldn,t usually offer my details .
Have you ever written a cheque? Or sent a BACS payment? You're not giving them any more detail.
Don't worry about it, is the short answer. Long answer is a bit more convoluted but is still, basically, don't worry about it.
Dunno about Quidco, but I did the same for Topcashback and my bank account is still there.
Plus what Northwind said - even if someone has your details they can't make a payment from your account without a Direct Debit mandate, and if that's obtained without your permission it's the bank who must cough up.
cheers guys
