For the military folk only.
Is it correct that only London based regiments can march with fixed bayonets in the city>
I was Queens Infantry and I seem to remember that being the case.
Now a mate from another regiment is saying that's bolios.
I think it comes down to whether the regiment has freedom of the city or not.
epicylo is correct. 'Freedom of the City' allows military units to march through the city with fixed bayonets & swords drawn
I was in PWRR (Queens and Royal Hampshires) and took part in the guard of honour for the queen of Denmarks state visit some years ago, we definitley marched with bayonets fixed through London.
You've got guns. Who's going to stop you?
😉
A bayonet charge is more satisfying........they don't like it apperm
