Sold some stuff on eBay recently. The buyer was initially communicative and was going to collect the gear etc etc. He couldn't make it before I went on holiday so I told him it was ok to wait until I got back. I'm back now, I've told him I'm back (via eBay message), but he hasn't responded (since last Friday). I sent him one last message yesterday to say he had until this morning to sort something out or I was going to SCO to the next bidder. He hasn't been in touch, so can I just make the offer to the second bidder or do I need to raise a dispute first?

It's been nearly a month since he won the auction BTW!

I know eBay has help, but STW is much more succinct 🙂

I think you're best off filing a non paying bidder request to Ebay to get your fees back and re-list.

I wouldn't think a SCO after this period of time would be succesful and if I received one I'd be a bit dubious.
