No.

Just a brush.

My bro is a dentist and got us all top end 'battery' brushes at trade price (i.e. £200 Philips stuff) a few years back... they lasted a year. He says stick with regular changes of a normal brush. Most importantly, cut out sugar in drinks.Tea/coffee no sugar, and no fizzy drinks, even sugar free.

My dentist says electric brushes are good. I've used Braun for years. There's always a deal on somewhere so £20 should be about right. My dentist also likes flossing and those interdental brushes (for gum disease). My dentist thinks I've got nothing better to do than clean my teeth all day.

My dentist advises electric toothbrush 2mins morning and night one tooth at a time, use it lightly - no pressure, plus proper flossing at night (hug the tooth with the floss, dont just go up and down between teeth).

I was recommended this one earlier this year when my old one went kaput.

It has been great the past 3 months or so I've had it. Compared to my older one which cost about 5 times as much (and lasted many years I have to say) it cleans noticably better.

Dentist relative recommends electric toothbrushes but also says the evidence that flossing is a good thing is very iffy and he personally doesn't bother.
