We stayed at the holiday park at west quantocks head. A bit further along but really good. You'd join at the bottom of smiths coombe I guess if your cycle over.

We're staying at Moorhouse in a couple of weeks, so currently no idea if it's any good or not, looks nice though 🙂

Just Back from 7 days at moorhouse farm campsite.
In case any one else searches for quantocks camping...it's a brilliant place to stay. Really friendly owners, campsite is really tidy and well looked after.
Shortcut over to Holcombe to get up into the hills, and to the pub (the plough)
Dogs allowed, and really family friendly. It was quiet when we were there, but there's plenty of space.
Oh, and quantocks riding is brilliant as well!!

Stayed at Moorhouse a few times - lovely pitches and clean and well looked after. Nice and quiet. Last time we went it was full and we stayed at Quantock Orchard on the other side of the hill- the Blue Bell pub is much better than the Plough (and also on the way back from the trails), but we still prefer Moorhouse as the Orchard felt a bit cramped and dated - Moorhouse also finishes on better singletrack on the way home. No facilities (shop etc) so need to drive and get bits, but didnt bother us.

Ah yes I forgot to report back on our stay at Moorhouse farm. It was great. Lovely site/pitches, lovely and helpful owners, easy access to the Plough and the Quantocks.
