Jr gets a couple for carving. Most will be roasted with sweet chilli sauce and put in the freezer. One is getting the booze treatment

What you'll need:

* 1 Pumpkin
* A quantity of brown sugar

Preperation.

Cut off the top 1/4 of the pumpkin. Hollow the seeds and loose material in the
center, put the seeds aside for planting. Fill up the space with sugar. Replace
the top.

Wait for hissing and popping. Then pierce a hole through the bottom of the
pumpkin and allow the rum to drain.

If you have to ask, you're too northern to need to know.

You grate it on your pasta

dont worry emsz, deadly had his wing mirror smashed and was posting about needing a new heated one... i pointed out some of us can't even afford central locking let alone heated wing mirrors! he ignored my gentle hints and continued to post on every thread he could about how rich he is 🙄

We've got them in the north - but we call them "cheese"

Heated wing mirrors? 😯

Sybarite! I can't even afford to heat my flat. 😥

Stoner: Pumpkin and beef curry. Ask for recipes from Bangladeshi people. Lots of them growing pumpkins round here. That curry is delicious.

I have a pumpkin question.. I've managed to persuade a couple of the blighters to grow in the back yard.. but they are very much of the dark green with a tiny bit of orange mottling variety..

Do I just have to wait for them to mature for a bit longer down here in balmy Devon.. or will we be having different coloured jack 'O lanterns this year..?

Urban garden is going well, but the politics involved; Lord Above. I stay well clear. It's worse than this place.... 😯

Apparently there was a break in last night. Nowt seems to have been taken, but it's such a shame some folk see everything as a possible opportunity for thievery. 🙁
