Pretty much every small brewery in the country is going to be offering free local deliveries. How else are they gonna shift stock now? If you’re currently a supermarket beer type, why not try supporting a local business instead? You might even find out what you’ve been missing!!

2 of my local breweries in Harrogate:

Roosters Online shop for national delivery or local collection/delivery available.

Cold Bath Brewing Local delivery available. See Facebook for details.

Friends brewery in Morayshire:

Windswept Brewing Online shop for national delivery. Free local delivery available too.

It’s going to be a very tough time for the small breweries in the coming months. Such a shame given the sheer hard work and dedication they have put into developing awesome and successful businesses. Please keep the orders going!

What zilog said. I've just ordered from our local brewery in West Wiltshire who are delivering within an 8 mile radius. Worked out at about £2.10 a pint!

Google 'brewery near me' and Bob is your mother's brother.

Accidental Brewery in Lancaster are canning anything they have on tap (normally a choice of 10!). They are also delivering via Uber Eats.

Seems to be plenty places doing this and fair play, some of the smaller bars and taps I visit have gone down the local delivery route or bring a crowler/growler/bottle and we will fill it. Contactless only all served through the window or back door, brought out to you in the car in many cases no human contact. Seeing it all over the country.

On the other hand, I've just got a message from a mate in Osset who tells me his local is having a back door opening from 4-8 today for a select few people. Crazy.

Not quite on topic, but so not to start another thread....

Any health/social issues with having people in your garden? Wash glasses and bottles before use, or better bring your own and take them home. Quick bleach spray of garden furniture before and after and don't sit too close. And no, you can't use the bog.

That's got to be a solution surely?

Nr Wendover doing free deliveries on orders over £30 but they are still offering brewery tours so not sure I'd want to support that course of action 🤔
