Just back from a pub lunch as a belated Xmas do of sorts.
Went to The Town Hall Tavern - great beer, fantastic food, enough said.
Think I'd struggle to find a better standard in town to be honest, but open to suggestions.

Would never even have though to walk in, will give that a gander when we next pop into Leeds.

That is no way to talk about the local Bar and CID.
Yes it is much better good beer and food knocked through the internal walls and no "punters" from crown and mags just a few criminal lawyers and a handful of old school coppers.
Try The Cross Keys on Water Lane
I like the Cross Keys and used to go when worked at Bridgewater Place, but now somewhat out of the way from the office.
Trying to think of a great little pub with a moose head as it's symbol/logo in Leeds. Also had a great little cafe behind it. Damn my ageing memory.
