Having moved to my girlfriend's permanently, some things had to change. Like the god-awful wifi reception in her bunker of a flat.

Was eyeing up Tenda Nova mesh networks for a while and cheapest I could find was a 2 pack of the MW3 ones for £43 delivered off of box.co.uk

Was about to order and was checking prices and saw a 3 pack of the MW5 ones (which do a higher speed of wifi I think?) for $50 delivered from Currys.

https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing-accessories/networking/whole-home-wi-fi-systems/tenda-nova-mw5-whole-home-wifi-system-triple-pack-10190570-pdt.html

Set them up and checked wifi strength around house and garden and all good!

I have the same set. They have been faultless for the last year.

Thanks. Just bought some. Don't really need them, but at that price, be rude not to 😀

I have had the same MW5 setup for a year (bought from currys for £80) and it works well.

…because…?

... they were shit. Dropping out several times a day and zero customisation options.

I wrote about it here at the time. Let me see if I can find it.

Happy MW3 owner here.

That is such a good price, tempting to upgrade for the faster speeds.

I use a mix of MW5 & MW6s - been rock solid for the 12/18 months I’ve had them (even the one in my cold, damp garage that I use for Zwift & CCTV duties).

Was going to ask what the range was like to stick one in the shed - has power, 20 yards from the house.
