As title, some like this kinda thing.

My mate did some of the research, he too is a dude, this should be Brutal 😆

And hey, it's got Meades in it..

Cheers. Will record that. Quite intrigued at the recent re-awakening in interest in Brutalism. And tbh, Meades could narrate someone taking a poo and make it interesting. 🙂

Seen this before, if it's the 2 parter. Great couple of programmes.

Ooh bikebuoy I could kiss you!

I'm one of those weirdos who loves a good dose of concrete.

I assume this isn't the prior 2-parter he did on Brutalism.

Well we did a Brutalist ride around London the other week, you may think that's dull as a dull thing, but my word! I have seen some buildings that amaze and quite frankly at the forefront of the movement. Who knew Camden Council were highly regarded for their insight and aptitude..
There is both a map of the Brutalist buildings and Art Deco too (which is our next venture out on foldies/raybans/roll necks and black jeans)
When you get out, it's amazing what lies down quiet streets.

Great stuff, I must be one of the only people around the Portsmouth area who feels sad that the Tricorn was ripped down 🙁

Jonathon Meades, the man who once made Aberdeen look amazing. Made me take a new look at the city. Worth a look - it's somewhere out there still.

What is it about Meades? used to watch him at school, mesmerising. We were a bunch of in-grates with no concentration but would happily watch Meades in silence for an hour.

Always remember Milan railway station, proper Fascist concrete architecture. Set the tone for the rest of my day there...

I have just watched. A great watch it was too. But this +1.

(How has Jonathan Meades passed me by?)
