11W Energy Saving Bulbs in tesco
Just saw these on offer for 5 for 40p in tesco, thought it was a error on the label but needed some anyway.
Worked out at 5 for 36p at the til!
B&Q were doing this a couple of weeks back - some tie up with British Gas I think - 37p for 5
BG sent me a load for free! OK I say free but they get £81 a month out of me for gas and £41 for electric so actually not very free at all. Still it was a nice gesture.
Cheers for the heads up. Problem is, round here, as soon as deals like that are spotted, some ****er will get his entire family and all his mates, to buy up all the bulbs cheap, then sell them off on a market stall, later. You get them in LiDLs, bulk-buying stuff, leaving nowt for anyone else. Go to a wholesalers, you cheeky ****s!
Those cheap ones are crud though, the ones i tried (3 off) all flickered!
