Great program but they need to include more bugs. Insects and arachnids are going mental at the moment. It’s not just clever city foxes , grumpy badgers, cute otters shagging deer. Where’s them spiders?

So Martin huge gains gets dropped so they can improve diversity in the line up (allegedly) because the main presenters are all white middle class types, and who do they get? Steve backshall! I never realised he was a working class black woman.

Never been much of a fan of Steve, his smile looks like a grimace and fake/made up. But he’s been plenty of places in the world so has some excellent views on diversity in nature, and he’s loved my da yoof. And that’s what he’s here for, to grab the yoof.

And Stracs likes stroking him doesn’t she 😜😘👆👉👆

They should have a section of the show where an expert in identifying animal droppings explains to Michaela Strachan how to track wildlife by examining their poo.

They could call it  The Shitman and Her.

Mmm, the wader-boy pieces reminded me a bit too much of that, er, slow year. You remember the one with the ****ing stickleback!

Lol at perchy.

Yes I feel that Martin Hughes - Games was pushed to leave the show and imo was perfect as a co presenter.

Loved the little owlets, so tiny and fragile looking. Sad about the tree creeper family, that's nature.

All a bit boring without Martin. Gillian has not improved unfortunately and is unable to convey any enthusiasm. Were there even any double entendres?

The tree slug was the star tonight which I think shows how dull the other 55mins were.

Ha, I commented to my wife about the way she was stroking his guns, the other night. 😅
