He is trying to break 110 mph on a bike
Watching it. Interesting if this slipstream thing proves it helps as I have seen debate which suggests it doesn't.
Cheers, I'd forgotten about it!!
Apparently it does
Getting towed by a rope will help even more.
I'm starting to go off him as he's on too much and think he's becoming a parody.

A parody of what?
He's exactly the same on telly as he is in interviews.
I don't even know who he is so I am currently not bothered by him.

Himself, sorry was mean to add that. He uses he catch phrases more and always makes sure he has tea in the shot.

He was live on BBC news this am. None of that was there he came across more natural but with his enthusiasm of life he has, none of the silly catchphrases or "Look a mug of tea how very british" bits.
I know it's the productions companies that do it not him but he could tell them to do one.

a thin younger fred dibnah with side burns
full face helmet,
dressed like a stormtrooper
and on a singlespeed.....
well what is the world cycling coming to. 🙂
Did he just call it a pushbike????!!
I want a green Hope headset.
He looks like he should be off a period drama...A mr Darcy perhaps!!!
Got balls of steel though...
I can live with the term push bike. However, I am intrigued by the Rourke steel which is apparently stronger than aluminium and more supple than 'fashionable' carbon fibre. A special blend from Birmingham apparently.
Just watched this on 4OD. Loved it! Really great show, really inspiring me to get off my arse more!
