At least the Syrians think they will go home one day.
A canny way to deal with refugees that.
A prison they are not desperate to leave and filter off the educated younger ones.
Good tele. Shame it won't be watched by more people
Fascinating and heart breaking.
I enjoyed that.
Thanks, will catch on iPlayer
Yip, he's worth the license fee.

He's a good watch. Asks the normal joe bod questions that we would all ask.
Always enjoyable. I loved his 'Meet The Stans' shows.
Sean Langan is excellent too if you can catch one if his documentaries.
The Turkish treatment of refugees is first class. We should hang our heads in shame for our bigoted NIMBY approach.
Thought the branching out of Turkish resorts to "Halal" very interesting too. Good Entrepreneurism.

except that Turkey could be treating them like this because they are being paid to do it, and refugees are suppossed to seek refuge in the closest country anyway, so all round it makes sense.
Is this the better way to handle it, as I assume that the refugees would want to return to Syria if it eventually became a safe(r) place again?
Only just caught up with the second episode.
Truly brilliant television. At once challenging, amusing and informative.
