Ninja frying pans..

They're not on offer or anything, but I WAS on the lookout for decent non stick pans.. have tried loads:
cast iron and seasoned well.... cheap non stick from Aldi (were great, but peeled after a while), and fancy pants copper ones...

I recently got the 24cm Ninja pan for 40 quid, and it's brilliant.

Tough, all metal construction, and I can tell right away the non stick is tough and GOOD!!

Anyway... if anyone's on the lookout for a pan, these are tip top!!

Dunno if some egghead made a breakthrough a while back but there’s loads of decent cheap non-stick options now! My mum bought me one of those JML Regis stone pans a few years ago, I was highly sceptical but it was so good I soon bought a bigger one plus wok & griddle. Use one or more most days and zero coating has been lost from any of them! Knock spots off anything I’ve used in the past. These ones look pretty similar (albeit a bit more expensive for the funky “ninja” branding 😉)

These are basically the same as Meyer's Analon pans, which are awesome.

Meyer Analon

I think the patent must have expired because their are loads of copies now. Tesco do them, and they too are excellent for about a third the price of the equivalent Analon.

Tesco Go Cook - 24" pan £18 etc etc

Can the handle be removed ??? Actually looking for pans right now but they need to pack small for the van.

We've got Tefal Inenio pans where you can remove the handle - they are terrible, non-stick started coming off with little use and the pan sides have bent somehow from the handles (not like we've been Vic and Bobing each other either)

Look good. 10yr guarantee on non-stick seems brave. May give the wok a try for lazy days.

My Kitchenaid pans were not cheap and lasted less than a year without me doing any of the usual kitchen terrorist things that would contribute to them falling apart.

Cheap post sale Dexham has been bulletproof.

4% Quidco cashback too

I'm looking to replace our 10 year old ProCook pans, supposedly 25 year warranty but it probably doesn't cover been burnt on the hob like ours have been.

My experience of Tefal Ingenio is total opposite to above. Now on second set but the first pair lasted nearly 2 years (still useable but not as non-stick) after being hammered daily in a commercial kitchen.

The metal is soft and sides dent easily if dropped but the detachable handle, which I thought would be a weak point, still works.

My last few have been <=£10 from TKs, I've seen non stick as limited lifespan ever since a pricey Le Crueset in the 90s.

Are the Ninja or Analon both heavy base with a flat/smooth base? Need some pans for an Aga. A lot of pans seem to have ridges or dimples on the base and they don't work very well on the flat heating surface.

I can't see myself going back from a cast iron pan.

Me neither, I've got a lodge and a debuyer one which is a little more usable on the hob due to a much bigger handle, but less useful for putting in the oven.

Might be interesting ... but the denting sounds bad for stuffing away in the van.

Nope… riveted on nicely….

Riveted isn't a deal breaker if they can be drilled out and replaced with bolts...

Any recommendations for a cast iron pan 28cm or so for 50 quid ish? Never had luck with them in the past as everything sticks, but worth a nother try.

Mostly its down to how you seal them... (Not had issues myself but always been OCD about the sealing)

We just bought an eaziglide non-stick frying pan - seems to work, is allegedly very tough, won the Which? Magazine group test. It apparently has a titanium-reinforced primer which makes it awesome in my very shallow book 🙂
