Just got back from my local Asda, (only popped in for some wholewheat stotties for a BLT) and they had the Apple universal dock for £17.50, just thought some of you may well be interested, oh and yes I did buy one and yep all seems to be working well.
Called my local stores and nothing here. (Glad I didn't waste a journey too lol)
Anybody else had any luck?
OP-did you get a part number on the receipt?
Cheers for posting anyway.
Hi mate, had loads (more than 10)in my local Asda, (Bridgend) when i got mine, i'll pop in on Monday and see if they have any left when im back in town, here a couple of pics of the box/serial number, from what i can see it is the latest version with the iPhone4 dock included, works fine on my 3GS,
If these are of any help
Just had a call from a mate, and they still have these in store at Asda in Bridgend
Maybe the Asda staff are buying them lol
...as for the apple black friday event - save your energy. It's hardly worth rushing for..
What is it with "Black Friday"??? Did something important happen today that I missed?
It's just the day when shops traditionally mark down the price on loss leaders, in order to whip us all into pre-christmas consumer orgasm.
£35 off an iPad and £81 off a MacBook is not bad, but not exactly earthshattering.
I'll still be waiting for iPad v2.
The Dock on there is now £21, so you're still better off buying it from ASDA
What is it with "Black Friday"???
American thing. One day sale on the day after Thanksgiving.
Equivalent to a Boxing Day sale.
