Great movie, but I can't watch it as GF has the remote and wants to watch "one born every minute". Unfortunate kids being brought into this world only to be sent home with morons for parents.

Great film. That scene in the cafe is similar to a scene in Kick-Ass. Both very brutal scenes.

Matt Vaughn's a really good director though, looking forward to his X-Men.

Cheers for the Gangster #1 tip. You're recommending it even though it's got Paul Bettany in it (and we all know what a waste of space he is) so I'll give it a spin - thnaks.

Superb film with a great cast. Gambon is just superb.

Anyone see V for Vendetta the other night ? Brilliant.

It's not as good as Layer Cake, but then nothing in the genre was! IIRC it was a lot darker than the standard mockney gangster films. The clip I wanted to post would probably see me 'doing bird'.

Layer Cake, one of my all time favorites.

The whole film is great on so many levels, even the soundtrack is spot on. I downloaded all the tunes and have it as a play list!

Love it. Gonna dig the DVD out and watch it at the weekend.

thanks for the suggestions but I've seen them all{I went through a faze} the only one I didn't like was Gangster no 1, I thought it was pretty dark, since emmigrating I really miss British movies though so was hoping something had come out more recently that was worth a look
