For those of you with a local Farmfoods (not many, I know) just picked up a bargain power washer.
They previously had the 4\8 at £159 & the 4\10X for £189 but today they had a few of both with a sign saying £99. I checked with a staff member to be sure and the same price applied to both.
So picked up a 4\10X. Of course.
They're usually around £275 so handy for cleaning off the bikes after those upcoming winter rides.
Will swing by one on the way home, been after a pressure washer for a while.
Fingers crossed.
Thanks for the heads up. Tried my 3 local branches, they all had a few of the 4/8 but no 4/10.
Bought a 4/8 as still an absolute bargain at the price. Killed my K3 the other day cleaning the drive so great timing.
Grabbed an /8 at the not very local Birkenhead branch. Just after someone legged it out the shop with a shoplifted jar of coffee. Classy.
Great PSA 👍
I'd been eyeing up the Nilfisk Core 140 at nearly twice the price.
This looks higher end and the original price seems to confirm that, but in terms of spec I can't see why it's better aside from a better reel. It does weigh twice as much. Anyone enlighten me?
I'd avoid a karcher, they have a habit of the head splitting as it's made of plastic. If you do buy one, be sure to empty to it fully after use in case it freezes.
@colp I hesitated buying it in Birkenhead but judged that prenton would be a smaller store. You've saved me the trip to check for /10s 👍
Stainless steel pistons and brass head on this model apparently.
Cheers OP, picked one up in Halifax on the way home. None on display, had them all in the back.
Been procrastinating for ages on what one to get.
Jolly good. Glad some folk got a deal. 👍
Bought mines last month, has been brilliant so far.
I got my 4/10X for £90. If you sign up to farmfoods newsletter you get £10 off voucher for £100 spend, which brings it down to £90. No brainer!
Also, if you register it on the karcher website you'll get 5 years warranty.

The Core is what I bought on the back of several previous STW threads. Karcher's name exceeds their quality apparently.
Nilfisk has a factory outlet / refurbished website. That may be worth a nosey.
Brilliant PSA cheers.
Popped to a Farmfoods local to where I’m staying tonight… They had one lonely 4/8 left, so I bought it… Far better than the knackered old Ozito POS that’s on its last legs I’ve got currently, and way better than the K4’s I’d been looking at…
Thanks OP, needed a new one as the old one is on its way out. Southend store has a few of each model in stock currently.
Picked up a 4/10 for £90 with a £9 off voucher for signing up for their newsletter.
For the price should be decent, just need a couple of adapters to use accessories that I have for the Nilsfisk.
Great PSA there OP, many thanks. Just popped to the small FarmFoods by me and they had a single 4/8 out the back, so went for that. Love a bargain!
Managed to get a 4/8 and a bar of chocolate for £92, thanks for heads up
Has anyone managed to find a reasonable priced snow foam attachment that will fit?
I wish I had a FarmFoods near me 🙁
Got one this morning. No 4/10 available and even the 4/8 was out the back. I'd got the £9 voucher for signing up to the newsletter so trotted off to the till. "Sorry sir you have to spend over £100 to get the discount"!!!!!! Its 1p!!!!!!
The old couple shuffling up behind me in the queue were only buying a single packet of cheese crackers. I asked how much it was - 39p. I made their day when I paid for it and got my billl over the £100 required. They were totally floored that I didn't want the money off them. As I passed them in the street they looked so happy. I reminded them not to eat them all at once and it was nice to see their shy smile. I almost went back to get them some cheese!!!!!!
I picked up the last 4/10 in Halifax yesterday. It was in the back room area and they had two 4/8 lef on display. Signed up for the newsletter and didn’t have to even make the sacrificial penny purchase to get it to £100. Seems a steal for £90.99. Staff were great, even brought it out to the car for me!
If anyone has missed out, there are quite a few new, unboxed ones on eBay…..coincidentally, and at a premium price point!
And yes, I too now need a decent snow foam gun.
Minor thread resurrection …
Has anyone managed to find a reasonable priced snow foam attachment that will fit?
I’ve just bought one of these from my local motor factor that will screw straight to the gun, sans lance. Seems ok for £40 - haven’t used it yet.
Karcher HDS adapter required.
Hope this is useful…

Humblebrag. 🙂
I had the nilfisk 140 but it was temperamental with tripping the electrics and then just temperamental and then dead, so I dumped it and all the accessories I had for it as it had hacked me off so much.
Bought a titan from screwfix to clean up the mess made by the guys silicon rendering the house and it’s breezed through that and other stuff since.
You can also pick up a box of 144 cadburys flakes for £6.99 from FarmFoods apparently. Probably a bummer if you’ve already been…

Farm foods sell the big 1.3kg rowse honey plastic squeeze bottle for 6 quid, buy with the voucher its even cheaper.
Cheers @mulacs I had forgotten I needed to sort adapter + snow foam lance.
Just been to Huddersfield store and they have one 4/8 left a d it's 79.99
I didn't get it as I'm after the 4/10
Regarding a snow foam cannon, I bought this one…
https://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/products/ultimate-finish-snow-foam-cannon-kit.aspx?variant=11897
Not cheap, but well worth it. £50 inc. 5L of a good quality snow foam isn’t bad value anyway, but did my research and seemed this was well worth the few quid extra over cheaper foam cannons.
I didn’t get it as I’m after the 4/10
All the 4/10’s were gone already when I picked up my 4/8 more than 2 months ago… Just get the 4/8. It’s a little less convenient without the hose reel, but it’s equally as powerful and effective.
