As per title, just reserved myself a nice cabinet.

Just picked up an industrial cabinet got it for half price less 10% British Cycling discount. Should be good for clearing up the mess of tools everywhere in my bike room.

Industrial has a heavier load rating. Suppose it depends what your using it for. Just built up the industrial one and it is good quality. The pro looks fine too, I'm sure it would do the job if your not loading it up too much.

Just picked up an industrial 6 drawer and put it into a tight spot. Lid lifts 1/2 way open, so I shot out the pins and removed the locking bars enabling the drawers to open without the lid needing to be opened.

I'm tempted by the professional ones.

Seems like people stack them, do they bolt together or are they just held by their own weight?

I have Industrial ones and Professional ones, the Industrial ones are a lot nicer, but the Professional ones have deeper drawers, so it depends what tools you are putting in them. (I use the Pro ones for air tools, grinders etc, Ind ones for flat stuff life tap and die sets etc)

They stack; cabinet, mid box, top box, just held together by weight/friction, the top/mid boxes sit just inside a lip at the edge of the base cabinet. I have the industrial ones set up under work benches, mid box and top box as one unit, cabinet as another unit.

If you can its worth going in to feel the drawer slides and see what you want to pay for. (and what you want to put in them, most of the Ind drawers are shallow)

They just stack together, the instructions say to bolt then together but there is no provision for this so you'd have to pull drawers out and drill them.

Got mine on a similar deal 4 years ago and been brilliant. So much nicer than the mess the plastic tool box used to be. Only down side is you buy more tools just because you've got all that space.
