Wow. Cheers!
And there goes any hope of completing my assignment before the deadline!
I can't believe how popular online that game still is, it's about 8 years old now.
Now wonder they never bothered to make the Story Mode DLC they promised, or there's not even a sniff of a sequel.
94Gb install :O

Yes but at least now you can murder prostitutes whilst social distancing.

I think you'd need GTA III for that. You can shoot imaginary aliens with a hand-held Gatling Gun during a drug induced hallucination though.
Cheers flyingmonkeycorps

That's a shame, looks like I'll be donning my ppe and venturing out for the foreseeable then....
Cheers, great PSA. I've only just completed the free Tomb Raider that was previously PSA'd hereabouts.

Rockstar are incredible at keeping game development quiet they’ll be doing a one for the next gen but there’s only tiny whispers of speculation.
Is it definitely just pc? the link shows no info for platform.

Yeah, I've being tragically googling "GTA 6" for about 3 years since rumours started it was due any min, not a peep since and as I remember it was 2 years between first trailer and GTA V actually arriving.
Last I heard they're dropping the "6" bit all together, there may or may not be a story mode at all, or a hybrid story / online game and they might just incrementally increase the size of the map of 5 to include another island. I don't blame them, they're still making millions from GTA Online, but I've never really liked it.
3 years pah... Half life 3.. 14 years of googling!!
Epic are also giving a £10 voucher that can be used against the games in their sales so takes things like Borderlands 3 to £15. Not bad at all...
Seems you need to install the Epic Games Launcher to download it, and then it keeps freezing at 2GB of download. I have to restart my laptop, and then restart the download, and then it freezes again. I'm giving up now 🙁
Working for me - Bravo PSA 4.3GB and counting....
Apparently you then need to join Rockstar Social Club, which is the part I'm struggling with. Can't verify Rockstar account.
Edit - I'm seeing comments that it takes hours to get the verification email from Rockstar. Can't play 'till that happens.
I think you’d need GTA III for that.
Nope, I can assure you that's still a feature in V. They're just harder to come by these days.
Online is a complete ****fest. You need to sink significant cash to even stand a chance outside of open play and some missions can't be started in a closed session. Griefers are rife and will destroy you with a flying rocket launching motorbike before you can even move. I've had some good sessions on there but also a load of crap where folk just follow you around and try to ruin your day.
Okay - finally got it loaded and an email from the social club so I can use it.
Never played before but on a PC with a keyboard and mouse I have managed to scare the hostages into the room and collect the cash. Now grabbed by the security guard and told to switch person.......
New person cannot seem to move or do anything other than fire a gun which kills M even when pointing at a wall.
Am I missing something?
Controls seem to be awsd for movement and moune for shooting.
Please enlighten me
Yup, wsad to move and mouse to look and shoot. Been a while since I played the intro mission. Hmm. YouTube?
Question about Epic Games - if they state a game will be on sale until later in the year, how reliable is that generally?
Heading into summer I don't really need encouragement to sit in front of a screen. Come December however...
Why not just buy it now and don't install it until you're going to play it?
Because the world might end Corona-style, potentially leaving me out of pocket.
I guess I just found it interesting, not being a gamer, that Epic are saying sale prices will remain in place for 6 months.
