You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I was just browsing for new down jacket and GO Outdoors have 20% off some stuff 'til Monday on top of their usual 10% off most RRPs, so I just saved £50 on a Rab Microlight Alpine which I thought was pretty neat. Happy Birthday to me.
Good call! Now, does anyone got a valid discount card I could 'borrow' to get a jacket I've been after?
Don't be so tight. 😀
For £5 you'll get it back on your first purchase, plus a year's worth of price match.
Much better value than Leisure Lakes' £30 VIP membership.
Just bear in mind they are often expensive in the first place
Went shopping on foot last week
Go Outdoors £95 for jacket with discount card
Local Outdoor shop £79.99
Go Outdoors with price match - 10%, £72 😉
That's a fair point Graham. But the point is you have to check
Yeah, but then if you're making a biggish purchase, surely you shop around for the best price anyway.
Just watch out for their "identical specification" clause.
There was a PSA on a camping site recently about a tent sale at Millets where two of the tents were also on sale at Go Outdoors.
I got one at the already cheap Millets price, less 10% no problem.
Someone else said his local branch refused to honour it because the Millets tent was green & black, but Go Outdoors' one's was described as "cactus & black". 😕
When I was looking at Jetboils, I think the Go Outdoors one was grey, or some other colour that no one else sold, so that they could get out of the price match.
Is it just a fiver for the card? Thought it was more. I'm in.
You don't need the card online anyway, all the discount card prices apply for online purchases.
