TBH whilst theres nothing wrong with my 7a it's not gonna keep me in the pixel family. It's no better than my Moto G9+ I had before it. Infact I'd say the Moto was better as it was cheaper. The 'a' versions of pixels are just basic phones, bit pants really. Hopefully the Pro models are similar to Samsung S's or good iPhones....
Indeed, the A versions aren't the models id go for. I've always had the Pro/XL versions.
I'm firmly embedded in the Samsung ecosystem, but for a £1200 phone (S24 Ultra) the camera is horrible. I've no idea why they've equipped it with 200mp as it's unusable - 12mp gives far better results.
I had a pixel 8, it developed the red line fault on day 366 of me owning it. Pile of absolute shit, happy to be back with Samsung now.
£29.99 for unlimited data! I pay €9.99 for the same, except it's only 4G. If I want 5G it would be €14.99 PM

My Pixel 7a is heavier, has worse battery life, a smaller screen and is less customisable than the OnePlus it replaced. (And I'd had the OnePlus for 3 years, so the battery life thing was a particularly sad surprise). I've got used to it now but I wouldn't rush to buy another Pixel.
The integrated Google Lens is a pretty natty feature though.
My 7a is all i need - just cannot see me paying over £400 for a phone. For tablet type stuff I just bought an ipad.
Well, ill consider the deal well and truly shat upon them. 🙂

A fair point but the cost of the plan is irrelevant in a way as it's about whether the overall price of the plan/ phone is competitive and whether the coverage of the said provider if good in your particular area etc etc ... and If you want this model, of course. 😉
