Apologies for another Garmin PSA, however this is a cracking deal. Garmin Fenix 6 Pro Solar for £349. I already have one of these and it's ace!

I can't even look at that site without giving them a valid email address and then it seems to say that no products match the description 🙁

@roverpig Unfortunately you do need to provide an email to access Sportspursuit but it is worth it. Still showing in stock my end

Thanks. I must admit I object more than I thought I would to having to give out my email address just to look at the offer, but luckily iOS now lets me easily generate fake addresses that I can then delete, so I had a look on the iPad and you are quite right the offer is still there. Looks like a good deal. Not sure exactly what the difference is between the 6 pro and the 7 although battery life on the 7 looks to be much better. Maybe that is it though.

A belated thank you for this PSA @69er_Gav

I picked up one of these and have been using it for a few weeks now. I had been idly browsing for a smart watch for biking, running, etc. and this pushed me to order one.

I’m over the moon with it. Battery life is superb! Can get a couple of weeks out of it easy unless using GPS. Friends/family with apple watches can’t believe I’m getting a fortnight between charges.

I’m only scratching the surface of the functionality really but the main thing for me is it enables me to consolidate my rides/trainer rides/runs/treadmill runs/etc.

The 47mm case is the middle of the road option I think, I certainly wouldn’t want any bigger as it’s fairly chunky on the wrist but I’ve got used to it now.

Cheers

If you are not fussed about the solar bit, which isn't that great in the UK imho, Amazon have the non solar version for £299.

Yeah the solar doesn't add a huge amount of battery on the 6, and to get a decent std battery you need the 6x which is just too big for my wrist after trying on a mates std fenix 6.

I'm going to treat myself to a new instinct crossover this Christmas I think 😁
