My wife ruined Christmas last night by buying her much coveted Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer for herself. Her justification it's half price at Currys PC World £550 down to £274.
So if you are into your baking or want to get brownie points this Xmas click here
On a related topic any suggestions what I should buy my wife for Xmas now she has ruined her surprise?
Was there a knead to let us all know?
Get her a Kenwood
Get her a recipe book for it full of things you like.
Buy her a big bag of flour, some eggs and caster sugar.
it actually has Artisan written on it!

This seems underappreciated. Bravo!
I'm still surprised at how much dough that is though, even in the sale
It'll prove its worth in time.
Careful what you get her now, she'll likely knock it back.

Only if there's nothing going on in her loaf.
haha! You've properly messed that up - you could've got a different colour and junked far more of your excess cash on it!
Dumbarse!
It's not really half price either, seems to have been more £350-400 range before pre-sales inflation, still a good price though I guess
You'll have to sponge off your mates to get her something betterer.
She only bought it to get a rise out of you
you're just going to have to roll with it
still a good price though I guess
and once it's scone, it's scone.
That really could be the icing on a cake....
(Ours is now 20 years old, still as good as day 1, you can replace parts on them easily. OUrs was a slightly scratched John Lewis ex-display that cost £99...)
That takes the biscuit mate. I'd have mixed feelings about another kitchen based purchase.
